Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR) Calculator

Assess your cardiovascular health risk by calculating the ratio of your waist to your hip circumference.

How This is Calculated

Waist-to-Hip Ratio (WHR) = waist circumference ÷ hip circumference. WHO risk thresholds: Men — moderate risk >0.90, high risk >1.0; Women — moderate risk >0.80, high risk >0.85. WHR is a better predictor of cardiovascular disease than BMI alone, particularly for abdominal (visceral) obesity.
