How This is Calculated
The 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes of screen time, look at something 20 feet (6 m) away for at least 20 seconds. This resets the ciliary muscle and reduces accommodation fatigue. Originally recommended by California optometrist Jeffrey Anshel and endorsed by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
