Nutritional values depend on accurate input. For clinical nutrition needs, consult a registered dietitian.

    How This is Calculated

Per-serving nutrition = total ingredient nutrition ÷ number of servings. Total calories = Σ(ingredient calories). Macros summed separately: protein (4 kcal/g), carbs (4 kcal/g), fat (9 kcal/g). Nutrient values should be sourced from the USDA FoodData Central database for accuracy.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Food packaging labels are most accurate. Online databases like the USDA FoodData Central or MyFitnessPal provide data for raw and cooked ingredients.

Be consistent within a recipe. Cooking changes the weight of foods (especially meat and vegetables), so if you measure cooked weights, use cooked nutritional data.

The current tool processes recipes in-session only. For saved recipes, consider using a dedicated nutrition tracking application.
